Fall Mini Sessions | Registration is Open

Fall mini sessions

While there are several weeks left of Summer to go, I can't help but get excited every time I walk into a store and see Fall decor, pumpkin spice foods & scented candles, and flannels. Already, days are getting shorter and nights will become more crisp.

In just 4 short weeks, trees will begin to fade to reds, oranges, & yellows... and two weeks after that, they'll begin to drop, lasting until middle of November.

Because fall is beginning to approach + I have received lots of requests…fall minis sessions are now LIVE!!! Each year, I host mini sessions twice a year (once in the spring + once in the fall!) for families and couples (+ pets) who would like a shoot that is a little less involved + more affordable. These mini sessions include 25 minutes of shooting, 35+ fully edited images, + an online gallery where you can easily download, share and print all of the high resolution files.  🧡 ALL for just $200! (Over 40% savings!!)

What to Wear!??

I decided to make this a two-part blog, because I get asked the question, "What should we wear???" SO often. Choosing outfits for a Fall photoshoot is really very simple, if you follow these basic guidelines:

1. Layer it up.

Layers create visual interest and will keep you warm and cozy while we’re outside playing in the leaves. Think leg warmers under boots, cardigans, blazers, and scarves.

2. Choose two colors you love.

Use the brightest color — also known as the accent color — sparingly. Add in a third neutral color to break up the 'scheme'. We LOVE the way deep gem tones (think birthstone colors) look mixed in with Fall natural colors.

3. Accessorize.

Pieces like burlap suspenders or a statement headband for the kids will take your ensemble to the next level of cute. My personal favorite accessories include hats & a pop of lip color.

3. Add some props.

A 'prop' can mean anything - from bringing your dog(s), a flannel or matching blanket (for sitting poses), old car/truck, pumpkins, signs, etc. Want to go a step further? Match your pet's collar/handkerchief to your blanket or outfit! There are SO many ways to 'tie together' any look, with a little thought, creativity, & luck while shopping :)

Can't wait to see you all and create some gorgeous memories!
